Zasoby leśne
Na terenie naszego nadleśnictwa przeważającym typem siedliskowym jest bór mieszany świeży (BMśw) oraz las mieszany świeży (LMśw). W typach tych dominuje sosna, której udział zmniejsza się wraz ze wzrostem żyzności siedliska na korzyść dęba i buka.
Udział siedlisk leśnych:
•51 proc. – lasowe, czyli drzewostany z przewagą gatunków liściastych
•47 proc. – borowe, czyli drzewostany z przewagą gatunków iglastych, najczęściej sosny i świerku
•2 proc. – olsy, czyli lasy porastające żyzne, bagienne tereny

Udział gatunków lasotwórczych:
•74,92 proc. – sosna
•10,58 proc. – dąb
•5,8 proc. – buk
•4,68 proc. – olsza
•2,06 proc. – brzoza
•1,96 proc. – pozostałe (świerk, daglezja, grab, jawor, jesion, lipa, osika, akacja)

Udział drzewostanów w klasach wieku:
Rozpiętość klasy wieku wynosi 20 lat (np. I klasa wieku – drzewostany w wieku do 20 lat, II klasa – 21 – 40 lat, III klasa – 41 – 60 lat itd.).
W Nadleśnictwie Milicz występuje nierównomierny rozkład powierzchni w klasach wieku.
Rozkład ten charakteryzuje się:
•12,08 proc. – I klasa
•15,07 proc. – II klasa
•29,64 proc. – III klasa
•13,55 proc. – IV klasa
•12,71 proc. – V klasa
•15,55 proc. – VI klasa i starsze
Grunty leśne nie zalesione- 1,4 proc.
Przeciętna zasobność drzewostanów:
•Buk – 300 m sześc./ha
•Sosna – 298 m sześc./ha
•Olsza – 285 m sześc./ha
•Dąb – 275 m sześc./ha
